Entre el Poblenou de ple franquisme, on va fer-se pastisser i va viure tots els tons de la repressió, i l’esclat de l’alliberament que simbolitza Sitges (on regentava un dels hotels més emblemàtics de la vila), Gonçal Sobrer ha fet un camí ple de llum, i aquí ens en deixa bona mostra. Gonçal Sobrer neix a Barcelona al 1932. L’any 1965, promogué a la Rambla del Poblenou de Barcelona el primer happening de Catalunya i de l’Estat espanyol.
