  • Friederike Mayröcker (Viena, 1924-2021) es una de las autoras más singulares e influyentes de la poesía en lengua alemana del siglo XX. Desde la década de los cincuenta publicó más de ochenta obras entre libros de poesía, prosa, literatura infantil, textos escénicos y obras radiofónicas. Influida por el movimiento dadaísta y surrealista, la poesía de Mayröcker fue evolucionando hacia un estilo personalísimo que aúna la experimentación lingüística con evocaciones biográficas y reflexiones existenciales. Distinguida, entre otros galardones, con el premio Georg Büchner, fue también nominada en dos ocasiones al Premio Nobel. Esta primera antología poética en lengua castellana presenta una amplia y representativa muestra de su producción.
