  • Ángel ha optado por no maquillar sus palabras, y hay en su desnudez un punto de crueldad con el lector. No se hace el héroe, algo que hay también que agradecerle es que no se hace el poeta. Hay en este libro una naturalidad que no se imita. No hay afectaciones líricas pero tampoco imposturas de otra índole. El libro está plagado de coloquialismos y tacos, que resultan normales cuando descubrimos que quien habla es un chaval de barrio que se dirige al chaval de barrio que fuimos. Aquí las madres (o la vida) no dan golpes, sino hostias. Las cosas son, o se ponen, feas de cojones. Esto es Aluche, y Leganés, y el Pozo. Esto es el puto mundo real.
